Role Overview:
We are seeking a Senior Full Stack Developer with expertise in Ruby on Rails, React, and AWS to join our growing development team. This is a long-term contract opportunity for a highly skilled engineer who enjoys building scalable web applications and working in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain highly scalable web applications using Ruby on Rails on the backend and React.js on the frontend.
- Architect and implement robust, scalable, and secure backend solutions, integrating multiple data sources and databases.
- Develop responsive and user-friendly front-end interfaces with modern JavaScript (React.js), HTML5, and CSS3.
- Optimize application performance, maintainability, and security.
- Ensure high code quality through best practices, including unit testing, automated testing, and code reviews.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and deliver new features.
- Work with AWS services (EC2, S3, RDS, SES, etc.) to ensure high availability and scalability of applications.
- Maintain and improve existing CI/CD pipelines to streamline deployment processes.
- Stay up to date with the latest industry trends, tools, and best practices in full-stack development.
- Mid to Senior-level experience in full-stack development.
- Strong expertise in Ruby on Rails, with a solid understanding of Ruby and its nuances.
- Solid understanding of object-oriented programming and software design patterns.
- Proficiency in React.js and modern JavaScript (ES6+) for front-end development.
- Experience with HTML5, CSS3, and responsive design.
- Familiarity with state management libraries (e.g., Redux, React Context).
- Strong knowledge of RESTful API design and GraphQL.
- Understanding of MVC architecture, ORM, and database design.
- Experience integrating and managing multiple databases and data sources.
- Proficiency with Git and version control workflows.
- Familiarity with containerization tools like Docker and CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience deploying and managing applications on AWS.
- Advanced or Fluent in Russian/Belarusian
